About Intentionally Rising: Kaltun Karani is definitely a superstar. Her passion comes through everything I’ve seen her do since 2007. This is the kind of book you’ll keep coming back to lifestyle refresh and upgrade.

Kaltun is an amazing coach. My sessions with her has helped me to truly see the areas that I needed to focus in my spiritual growth. There were multiple times that I thought and pondered upon her questions hours after our session has ended. This assisted me to implement changed easily in my life. She is personable, supportive, understanding and empowering during sessions. I highly without doubt recommend Kaltun as a coach and mentor.

I feel blessed that my coach is also a trained counselor. That said, her empathetic approach! She mentioned on the first group session that she’s a talker but doesn’t want to take over, and SubhanaAllah, she was so great. She was great with connecting our modern-day problems with solutions from the Qur’an and Sunnah of Muhammad salAllahu alaihi wassalaam. My experience was life changing. SubhanaAllah, I’m crying as I write! I truly expected to just slink away in the background lol, but the environment created was a very safe space. Kaltun encouraged us and made it very easy to be vulnerable.

About Intentionally Rising: The first exercise about personal strengths blew my mind. I can’t believe I’ve always looked at myself from a place of weakness.

Thank you for the flower infront of the house example; it was like an aha moment for me. I appreciated you giving me different titles (life Ruqiyo the mother/the teacher/the wife/the daughter..etc) was amazing you can’t imagine how much it helped me. I was stuck on being a teacher for the longest time that I couldn’t focus and enjoy everything else. I knew something was wrong but I couldn’t pinpoint what the problem was… you saying it made all the difference maashaAllah and it gave me a sense of relief that I am not a failure.

MashAllah TabrakAllah she has a way of bringing examples from the Quran and sunnah and making it so relatable. She has a beautiful soul, and personality, and a love of helping others remember and connect with Allah swt that radiates through her. She was providing us with tools to use Alhumdulillah. I just wish the sessions were longer, as we miss her. I found my tribe of sisters, and through the advice and exercise and tools Kaltun shared we are on our spiritual journey together and will support each other InshAllah. She makes you feel it’s ok. She made it a safe space for me to share and receive advise, there was no judgement. It was how can we help, what can we do to support each other.

About Intentionally Rising: Intentionally Rising has helped me to focus less on my weakness and zero in on my strengths. It gor me to reflect on how I can use those strengths to fulfill a greater purpose in my daily life while please Allah.

Kaltun is extremely knowledgeable maa sha Allah. When she speaks she references her quotes be it Surah and ayah of Quran, Hadith or book and author. It makes it easier to connect and trust her and what she is saying. That’s important, to me. She is humble/down to earth and easy to relate to. I’m becoming more conscious of a lot. I’m also inspired to take action.

I feel calmer after the group sessions. The group was a lovely mix mashAllah & Kaltun has been wonderful to work with. It has made me want to work with Kaltun more. Even though the sessions have not been counselling etc, I do feel inspired to want to become a counsellor perhaps some day in the future as I would love to be there for other Muslime women in such a beautiful way.

For our final group project in my Multicultural Counseling class, we were give the opportunity to invite a guest speaker to give a presentation. My group invited Kaltun Karani to speak. MashaAllah, she gave an AMAZING presentation on counselling Muslims. As future counselors, the class was so grateful for her presentation. She talked about some background info on Islam and Muslims, who are the Muslims in MN, and some dilemmas we might come across as counselors when we work with Muslims. You are spectacular, Kaltun!

We’ve consistently gotten feedback that your presentation on your experience in the American education system was one of the most valuable sessions today. Thank you Kaltun!

What I liked best about the Women in Islam presentation by Kaltun is have an informative presenter who shared through real life examples and 1sst person narrative. I wish it was longer, how did her story end? I learned more about family dynamics, diversity in Islam and the conversation around difficult topicx.
